The Opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable (AP) Clerk to join our Finance team. In this role, you will ensure the timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices and payments, uphold financial controls, and support the finance team in month-end activities. Your efforts will directly contribute to the smooth running of our business and to building trusted relationships with our partners.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform 3-way and 2-way matching of invoices and purchase orders
Investigate and resolve purchase queries and disputes with suppliers
Liaise with internal teams to ensure quick resolution of finance-related queries
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
Ensure high standards of accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks
Work autonomously, while seeking support when needed
Manage the finance team's shared mailbox
Assist and support the finance team with ad hoc requests
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Proven experience in a hands-on finance role within a small team
Previous experience in accounts payable, including 3-way/2-way matching
Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel; experience with accounting systems (Xero desirable)
Strong communication and organisational skills
