Accounts Payable Manager
at PD Ports within the Transactional Finance team.Location:
Queens Square - Head Office, Middlesbrough.Working Arrangements:
35 hours per week, Monday to Friday (hybrid working available).The five main things our Accounts Payable Manager will be working on are:
Ensuring the accounts payable function is operated accurately, efficiently and to agreed timescales. Overseeing of accounts payable processes from input to payment, ensuring that processes are being adhered to across the business. Understanding the procurement/purchase procedure. Implementing changes as required to improve the service provided by the accounts payable team to the business. Review and monitor unmatched cash payments. Review, monitor and report on accounts payable and procurement KPI's. Checking payment runs, compiling and reporting statutory reporting for payment practices and performance.
We are seeking someone who:
Has a proven ability to supervise and motivate staff, with at least 3 years' experience in a similar Accounts Payable Manager role. Is a well organised team player. Has strong communication skills. Possess a positive attitude to problem solving as well as forward thinking. Has the ability to liaise confidently with all other departments at all levels.
