We are looking for a dynamic Accounts Payable Officer to work at our Head Office in Farringdon, London.

ROLE PURPOSE

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Officer to join our Finance Team. Reporting directly to the Management Accountant, this role is key to maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our purchase ledger, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring timely processing of supplier payments.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

The key responsibilities are as follows:

Processing all purchase invoices across the group. Maintaining relationships with suppliers, including resolving queries and discrepancies. Preparing and processing supplier payments accurately and on time. Administering staff expense claims and corporate credit card statements. Conducting bank reconciliations and posting supplier payments. Supporting the Finance Team with ad hoc administrative tasks. Responding to audit-related queries.

REQUIRED SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Proven commitment to high levels of customer service. Prior experience in an Accounts Payable or similar finance role. Understanding of accounting principles, including double-entry bookkeeping. Competency in Microsoft Excel and confidence handling data. Experience with accounting software; knowledge of Microsoft Navision is advantageous. High attention to detail and effective problem-solving abilities. Demonstrated commitment to accuracy and quality.

QUALIFICATIONS

Candidate must be AAT qualified or working towards their qualification
Employment is subject to status to work in the UK and 2 satisfactory references.
