About the Role




This role is responsible for the direct people management of accounts payable analysts as well as ensuring timely and accurate payments of relevant suppliers


This role is responsible for managing the weekly supplier payment runs, ensuring teams supplier statements are reconciled in line with expected payment dates as well as ensuring inbound queries are managed and responded to in line with SLAs.

Principal Accountabilities





Responsible for the direct people leadership of accounts payable analysts Responsible for implementing, supporting and delivering accounts payable strategy Managing all aspects of transactional processing within accounts payable team Drive productivity and deliver services in line with KPIs Work closely with Accounts Payable Manager to identify process improvements and drive best practice Be the senior escalation point in the event of unresolved or complex issues Establish and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to monitor performance and resolve issues impacting productivity and accuracy Support in delivering audit Recognise and communicate any risks and issues with the team, management and key stakeholders Coach, train, develop and motivate the team.

Required Experience





GCSE Maths and English IT literate, able to use Microsoft Office, Excel etc. Confident and professional manner Team player and approachable Numerical skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Experience of managing a team
