Located in a rural setting in the small village of Thorpe, Surrey, TASIS England is an international school for students from Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 12 (ages 4 to 18). We are a day school for students of all ages, and offer boarding for students in Grades 8 to 12 (ages 13 to 18).
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and organised Accounts Receivable Administrator to join our Business Office team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing incoming payments, maintaining accurate financial records, liaising with students and families and ensuring timely processing of invoices.
Duties
Process and record incoming payments accurately and promptly.
Generate and send out invoices to families in a timely manner.
Maintain and update accounts, ensuring all transactions are recorded correctly.
Conduct regular reconciliations of accounts to ensure accuracy.
Assist with the preparation of financial reports as needed.
Communicate effectively with families and third parties regarding payment inquiries or discrepancies.
Utilise accounting software such as Opera for data entry and analysis.
Requirements
Proven experience in an accounts receivable job or a similar role is essential.
Proficiency in accounting software, including Opera.
Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy.
Excellent analytical skills to assess financial data effectively.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and attention to detail is essential.
