The role of a

Accounts Receivable Assistants

is demanding, varied and provides a good opportunity for the right candidate to join a committed, focused and hardworking team.


We are seeking an experienced AR to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the accounts receivable requirements and ensuring accurate and timely processing of financial transactions.



This role is Hybrid with 3 days in the office and 2 days work from home.

Main Responsibilities



Managing busy inbox of customer queries, which will need to be dealt with in a timely manor Reconcile cash received and ensure prompt posting and accurate allocation across accounts Monitor trends and provide reporting on unallocated cash position Process self-billing invoices to tight timescales ensuring attention to detail Prepare and reconcile applications for payment Ensure all relevant invoices are raised on client partner portals in a timely and accurate manner Create and amend client master data ensuring that all necessary checks and approvals are in place Provide high-level professional service to clients in all interactions Provide statements to clients on a monthly basis Managing customer accounts, resolving queries and chasing debt Managing credit applications and ongoing credit risk

You should apply if you:



You are proficient in using in accounting software Strong data entry skills with a keen eye for detail Experience in financial services, B2B or a related field Is beneficial Excellent phone etiquette for customer communication You have experience of working in fast paced role and possess a passion for customer first. You have a positive can-do attitude. You are competent in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). You are a great team player. You are organised & methodical with the ability to work calmly under pressure. You are a good at problem-solving skills. You have good time-management skills with the ability to keep to task. You take accountability for your actions treat people with respect. You are able to collaborate with others within and outside of the department.
