We're seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Bookkeeper to join our remote Finance team. You'll be responsible for invoicing, payment collection, reconciliation, and credit control--ensuring timely and accurate financial processes.
Key Responsibilities
Generate and issue accurate invoices in Xero for bookings.
Monitor and follow up on aged receivables via email and phone.
Reconcile payments and bookings between Xero, PMS and payment gateways.
Respond to customer billing inquiries and resolve disputes professionally.
Produce accounts receivable and cash flow reports.
Collaborate with Reservations team to align bookings and billing.
Onboard new corporate clients into the PMS and set invoicing rules.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
5+ years of experience in Bookkeeping, Accounts Receivable, Finance Assistant roles.
Proficiency with Xero (invoicing, reconciliation, reporting).
Strong communication and time management skills.
Ability to work independently in a remote setup.
Desirable:
Hospitality or serviced apartment experience.
Knowledge of UK VAT rules for accommodation.
Familiarity with PMS (e.g., Elina) and tools like Dext.
