About the role



We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Coordinator responsible for producing accurate and timely customer billing and focusing on addressing customer queries to enable smooth cash collection. Working alongside the wider Finance team and regularly interacting with other departments to determine billing accuracy, your role will focus on the timely delivery of billing information and ticket resolution.





Our ideal candidate would have experience in billing administration and have excellent attention to detail. Strong organisation and problem-solving skills are important to help resolve issues efficiently to minimise the occurrence of aged debts.





Communication with customers would take place over the phone and via email. It is important that the successful candidate be comfortable with this and be able to balance the interests of the customer and Aspire.





What you will be doing


Managing day-to-day Billing administration duties across the following: + Reconciliation of order, pricing and PO information
+ Creation and issue of invoices in line with contractual terms
+ Upload billing documentation on the customer portal
+ Process credit invoices
+ Ensuring that debts are collected to terms
+ Resolve internal and external queries
Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with key stakeholders and teams across the Aspire network to ensure that billing requirements and customer queries are accurately and promptly resolved. Use relevant systems in a consistent manner to enable efficient billing management and effective reporting. Working to SLA for incidents and requests, prioritising and managing workload effectively, managing several open Incidents and requests whilst following existing procedures and best practices. Support continual improvement by identifying opportunities for improvement and efficiency.



You will suit the role if you have



Previous experience in a billing role, with a proven ability to deliver a high standard of customer service in a high-volume business. Excellent organisation and time-management skills with a high attention to detail to ensure billing is accurate and to minimise queries or errors. Excellent communication, documentation and writing skills to respond to queries politely and promptly. Strong ability to build and maintain meaningful relationships with clients and stakeholders. Self-motivated, proactive and able to work independently as well as part of a team.

Salary



25,000 to 28,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Location and Working Arrangements



You will be based at Aspire's Gateshead Head Office.





Hours of Work



Full time (37.5 hours per week), Monday to Friday
