We are looking for an

Accounts Senior

to become a key part of our friendly and growing team. This role would suit a qualified AAT, a part- or fully-qualified ACA/ACCA, or an individual who is

qualified by experience

About the Role:

As an Accounts Senior, you will work with a variety of clients, primarily within the agricultural sector. The role offers a broad range of general practice responsibilities, including:

Preparation and review of financial accounts Preparation of tax computations Involvement with VAT returns and payroll Supporting clients with day-to-day queries Other ad hoc accounting tasks as required
This is a varied role that provides real scope for career progression, with opportunities to take on more responsibility and grow within the firm.

About You:

We're looking for someone with:

Strong technical knowledge of accounts preparation and tax compliance Previous experience in an accountancy practice Proficiency in using accounting and tax return software Ideally, working knowledge of

QuickBooks

and

Xero

(desirable but not essential) The ability to work independently and as part of a supportive team
A background or interest in agriculture is a plus, but not essential. Many of our team members come from farming backgrounds and share a strong connection to the industry.
