A well-established and highly respected accountancy firm based in Filey is seeking an experienced Accounts Senior to join their growing team on a permanent basis. As an Accounts Senior, you will be:

Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts and management accounts for a varied client portfolio

Producing VAT returns and supporting bookkeeping as needed

Acting as a main point of contact for clients, providing expert advice and resolving queries

Mentoring junior team members and supporting their development

Collaborating across departments to deliver exceptional client service

Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements

To be successful in this Accounts Senior role, you will ideally have/be:

ACA/ACCA qualified or qualified by experience within a practice environment

Confident managing a diverse portfolio of clients including limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships

Experienced with cloud accounting software such as Xero, Sage, or QuickBooks

A strong communicator with excellent organisational and time management skills

Able to work independently and handle multiple priorities effectively

This role is easily commutable from Bridlington, Scarborough, Hunmanby, and surrounding areas, with on-site parking available and good access to public transport.
