We are looking for an Accounts Technician to join our team in a full-time role at our office in Ulverston, Cumbria.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role and will:

be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word and Teams

have experience of Sage software, Supplier portals and other computer systems

preferably have AAT Level 3

accurately and timely post invoices on Sage, having a good understanding of VAT records

accurately post payments to supplier accounts

manage the company creditors

assist in reconciling the bank

complete VAT returns

collaborate with the wider team to ensure the successful running of the business

have a positive 'can do' attitude and be able to meet deadlines

The key attributes we are looking for:



Excellent attention to detail, well organised and self-motivated Exceptional written and verbal communication skills Strong analytical skills Proactive in delivering continuous improvements Demonstrable experience and competence in using IT, including Microsoft Office packages and other database applications GCSE Maths and English are essential
