Your Role



As an

Accredited Checking Technician

, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy, quality, and safety of all medications dispensed. You'll work closely with our pharmacists and support staff, contributing to the smooth, efficient running of the pharmacy and helping patients manage their health effectively.

Key Responsibilities



Accurately check and verify prescriptions. Provide advice and support to patients on the safe use of medications. Assist in delivering both

NHS and private pharmacy services

to the public. Support stock control, ordering, and inventory management. Maintain compliance with all legal, professional, and safety standards. Work collaboratively with pharmacists and healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements



Accredited Checking Technician (ACT) qualification.

Current GPhC registration.

Previous experience in a

community pharmacy

(preferred). Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills. Friendly, patient-focused, and able to work well in a team.
