We are currently recruiting for a

Portuguese Accredited Legal Translator

based at our Bolton Office. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about the work they do, the service they provide and getting the best results for their clients.

Providing comprehensive translation services to fee earners and clients. Working with fee earners and other departments to progress cases. Responsible for providing certified translations of legal documents and relaying information accurately between the firm and its clients to a degree where clients are fully informed and happy with service, and so that claims flow timely/nicely to a conclusion.

Responsibilities to include:

Providing certified translations of legal documents on a daily basis (Portuguese and English)

Providing high-quality, accurate translations within required timeframes

Relaying information accurately between fee earners and clients

Liaising with clients in Portuguese using various communication channels, including phone and e-mail

Progressing cases within the department and providing support to fee earners

Ensuring clear communication within the team

About You:

Fluent in Portuguese and English

Accredited member of a recognised UK translation body, such as CIOL or ITI

Demonstrable professional experience as a Translator

Ensure that work is done to a high standard and in a professional manner

Confident communicating in person, over the phone and via email

Excellent attention to detail

Manage own workload and time and comply with deadlines

Flexible and adaptable

Proficient user of Outlook, Excel and other Microsoft packages
