Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality patient care by assisting with medication administration and monitoring patient responses. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate medication dispensing and adherence to safety protocols. Maintain an organised and efficient pharmacy environment, including inventory management and equipment maintenance. Provide support in the training and supervision of junior staff or pharmacy technicians as needed. Uphold compliance with all regulatory requirements and organisational policies related to medication handling and patient safety. Engage with patients to provide information about medications, answer queries, and offer guidance on proper usage.

Experience

Applicants must be acreditted to check as an Accuracy Checking Technician. Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred, particularly in roles involving patient care or pharmacy technician duties. Familiarity with medication administration processes and relevant regulations is highly advantageous. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
