Duties

Assist in the preparation and dispensing of medications under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Provide patient care by answering queries and offering guidance on medication usage and side effects. Administer medications as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and guidelines. Maintain accurate records of medication administration and patient interactions. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimise patient outcomes and ensure continuity of care. Participate in inventory management, including ordering and restocking supplies as necessary. Uphold cleanliness and organisation within the workspace to promote a safe environment for both patients and staff.

Requirements

Previous experience as an Accuracy Checking Pharmacy Technician is preferred. Strong understanding of patient care principles and medication administration protocols. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members. Attention to detail and strong organisational skills are essential for maintaining accurate records. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
