Duties

Assist in the preparation and dispensing of medications under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Provide patient care by offering guidance on medication usage and answering queries related to prescriptions. Maintain accurate records of medication administration and patient interactions to ensure compliance with regulations. Monitor inventory levels of medications and supplies, placing orders as necessary to maintain adequate stock. Ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and functioning, reporting any issues promptly. Participate in training sessions and continuous professional development to stay updated with industry standards and practices.

Skills

Proven experience as a Pharmacy Technician or in a similar role within a healthcare setting is preferred. Strong knowledge of medication administration protocols and patient care practices. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals. Attention to detail and strong organisational skills are essential for maintaining accurate records and managing inventory. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a high standard of care.
