Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and SKILLED DISPENSER wishing to ADVANCE to ACT role or a qualified ACT Technician to join our team. This role is essential in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the safe administration of medication. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in pharmacy practices and demonstrate a commitment to excellence in patient service.

Responsibilities

Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately. Provide exceptional patient care by addressing inquiries and offering guidance on medication usage. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards in medication administration. Maintain accurate records of medication distribution and patient interactions. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimise patient outcomes. Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge to provide NHS services and PRIVATE services Must be able to check MDS packs

Skills

Proven experience as a Pharmacy Accuracy Technician or in a similar role is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with patients and healthcare teams. Attention to detail and strong organisational abilities to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a calm demeanour in a fast-paced environment. A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to continuous improvement in service delivery.
