Job Description
Independent Pharmacy looking for an ACT to assist the Pharmacist in checking prescriptions and providing services.
Trainee considered but must be an experienced dispensing technician already.
Responsibilities:
- Help deliver services
- Process prescriptions
- Maintain medication supplies - use of ordering portals and drug tariff
- Accurately check prescriptions
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare professionals
Qualifications/Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a pharmacy technician or ACT
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in medication preparation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
