Job Title: ACRO Head of Section (Team Leader)Salary Range: SO1 xc2xa335,526 - xc2xa337,692 per annumWork Location: Near FarehamHours per week: 37 hours per week, (Monday - Friday with flexible office hours)Contact Type: PermanentClosing date: Monday, 9th June 2025We are looking for an experienced team leader or supervisor to join us as an ACRO Head of Section, within a national policing unit.More about the roleYou will be a first line supervisor for up to 12 members of staff, so the primary focus of this role will be to lead, motivate and mentor your team.Whilst supporting the performance and development of your team members and managing the day to day workload for your team and the wider department with your colleagues, you will also be required to identify and develop opportunities to change or improve your business processes to improve efficiency.Strong organisational skills and the ability to problem solve effectively are key to this role. You will be working in a fast paced environment so the expectation is that you will be able to respond quickly to changing priorities.There may be a need to represent ACRO at national and international meetings so candidates should note that this role may require travel which may involve overnight stays.
