Job Overview:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced

Acro Dance Teacher

to join our team and lead

three back-to-back acro classes

on

Thursdays, 4:00-6:30 PM

during term time. Classes cater to students aged

4 to 16 years

, divided by age and ability.

The ideal candidate will be confident in delivering

original, challenging, and progressive acro lessons

that help students rapidly build advanced skills, always with an emphasis on

safe technique, creativity, and student wellbeing

.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging acro classes for children aged 4-16 Structure lessons to safely challenge and progress each group Ensure correct technique and safe spotting at all times Foster a positive, inclusive, and encouraging class atmosphere Provide clear, constructive feedback to students Support studio-wide events such as end-of-year shows and watching weeks Communicate effectively with parents/guardians when needed

Requirements:

Certified in Acro (Acrobatic Arts, AcroDance, Acrotrix, or equivalent) Proven experience teaching acro in a studio or dance school setting Confident working with multiple age groups and skill levels Strong knowledge of flexibility, strength training, tumbling, and transitions Self-employed status preferred (or willing to invoice) Reliable, punctual, and great with children

Working Hours:

Thursdays, 4:00-6:30 PM

(term time only)
Includes

3 acro classes

across different ages and levels.
Potential for more hours in the future for the right candidate.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From 25.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 3.5 per week
