The Role
We are looking for passionate
Acro-Tumbling Coaches
to lead and support the growth of our acrobatic and tumbling disciplines. The successful candidates will bring strong technical knowledge, a high energy coaching style, and a commitment to safe, progressive skill development for athletes at various levels--from foundation to competitive squads.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging, progressive sessions in acrobatic floor-based tumbling and aerial skills.
Coach athletes in dynamic combinations, flips, aerials, and linked tumbling sequences.
Support athlete development from beginner through to competitive levels.
Ensure all coaching is safe, inclusive, and aligned with Gymnastic, Dance, British Gymnastics or IGA standards.
Contribute to choreography, routine construction, and competition preparation.
Maintain clear communication with athletes, parents, and the wider coaching team.
Uphold club values of respect, inclusivity, and high-performance ambition.
Essential Requirements
Minimum
Level 2 British Gymnastics qualification or Dance Degree
in Tumbling, Acro or General Gymnastics (with strong tumbling experience).
Experience coaching aerial and tumbling skills to children or young people.
Up-to-date Safeguarding and First Aid training.
Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain).
Strong communication skills and a positive, athlete-centred coaching approach.
Desirable
Level 3+ qualification in Tumbling or Acrobatic Gymnastics.
Experience preparing athletes for competitions.
Choreography or dance experience for routine development.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: 10.00-30.00 per year
