Are you a highly motivated individual with excellent communication skills and a passion for enhancing wellbeing through sport and physical activity? Join our dynamic team as an Actif Young People Officer and play a key role in ensuring a positive and enjoyable experience for our children and young people across Carmarthenshire.
Be part of the Actif Communities' team and work across Carmarthenshire to ensure that every child and young person is provided with a range of inclusive, high quality, positive, engaging sport and physical activity experiences within educational and community environments. You will identify, facilitate and develop sustainable sport and physical activity opportunities for children and young people by developing a range of working partnerships. These would include local clubs and organisations, as well as regional and national agencies and initiatives focused on community development, regeneration, social inclusion and health in targeted areas as a means of providing sport & physical activity opportunities in a coordinated and structured manner to increase participation.
As someone possessing excellent interpersonal skills, to achieve this goal, you will recruit, deploy and manage a range of volunteers and coaches, identifying and coordinating training to ensure the highest standards in service delivery.
