This role is a multifaceted, you will oversee the delivery of Active Blackpool's Making Changes programme, a 12-week healthy lifestyle initiative designed for families with children aged 4 to 11 years, who supports families who are overweight or at risk of becoming overweight, providing education, fun activities and lifestyle behaviour change support.
You will also manage a team of Health and Wellbeing Coaches, guiding them to deliver high-quality, person-centered coaching that empowers individuals to make lasting, positive lifestyle changes.
Skills
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage conflicting demands
Excellent communication and inter-personal skills - both verbal and written
Self - motivated, with the ability to work under own initiative
Good IT skills
This role is central to driving system change, working closely with public health, health and care partners and community organisations to take a fresh approach to prevention and early intervention. You'll champion evidence-based health coaching models and innovative ways of working that tackle the root causes of poor health, reduce inequalities and create lasting impact.
