Home Vacancies Activities Coordinator About The RoleIn this position you'll be at the centre of our therapy team, delivering our exceptional, evidence-based rehabilitation programme.


Supporting our Senior Occupational Therapist, you will deliver therapeutic interventions and a host of activities in group and individual formats. Though you'll be assisting our Senior Therapist, you will have many responsibilities of your own, such as, but not limited to:


Building one-to-one rapport with patients to encourage participation and empower recovery. Sourcing and organising resources necessary to delivery therapeutic activities. Complete one-to-one therapy sessions, promoting meaningful occupation and person-centred care. Develop your own knowledge of local resources and services offered in the community, to assist in facilitating community integration.

Key Duties


Completing interest checklists with new patients on admission and uploading onto our management software 'Nourish'. Facilitating ward-based group activities encouraging engagement and monitoring interactions between patients. Be enthusiastic and adaptable to cater for individual needs. Record keeping on Nourish and Microsoft excel. Reporting to OT with any concerns, issues or recommended changes

The hospital offers a comprehensive and person-centred range of treatments within our Female PICU and Older Age acute wards for women and men with mental illness, personality disorders, and sometimes, complex physical health needs.
