A fantastic opportunity has arisen for activity co-ordinator to join our activity team at The Lawns.

This job role will include:

Designing, organising, and delivering a varied and appropriate programme of activities for our residents, taking into consideration the needs and wishes of individuals. Providing one to one activities for our residents. Ensure that the activities promote their independence, dignity, rights and choices. Producing a range of activities that incorporates learning, health and physical fitness, social and mental engagement. Promote high level relationship with residents families, relatives and local community. Ensuring that the home is promoted through website and on social media.
The successful applicant will ideally have previous experience of working with and supporting older people and of providing an activities based service for people. You will also have a good understanding of good customer service and be IT literate.

At The Lawns we promote a person centred approach where the residents are in a centre of their own care, therefore this role has a substantial effect on their day to day living.

Having efficient variety of activities is very important to stimulate our residents daily living.

This is a part time or a full time position and the hours can be flexible and the hourly rate will depend on skills and experience and will be discussed at the interview.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 13.50-14.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 35 per week
