The Role




As our Activities Co-ordinator, you'll be the heartbeat of the home, designing and delivering a varied, exciting programme of activities that keeps residents engaged, active, and feeling their best. From arts and crafts to music, quizzes, celebrations, and one-to-one sessions, you'll create experiences that promote independence, choice, and wellbeing.


You'll be responsible for:


Planning and leading stimulating group and individual activities Creating a fun, inclusive environment where everyone feels confident to join in Managing activity resources and equipment within budget Developing a lively and well-organised activities calendar Ensuring activities support wellbeing and meet CQC standards

About You




You're creative, organised, and naturally good with people. You understand what makes older people smile and feel included, and you're confident adapting activities to suit different interests and abilities.


You'll bring:


Experience of organising activities (ideally in a care or community setting) A good understanding of activities older people enjoy Creative flair, especially in arts, crafts, or entertainment The ability to motivate, engage, and inspire Strong planning and organisational skills A team-player attitude with confidence to work independently Basic PC skills Knowledge of workplace health and safety
