The Role
We are seeking a compassionate, creative, and enthusiastic
Activities Coordinator
to join our team. You will be responsible for planning and delivering a varied program of activities that promote physical, mental, and emotional well-being for our residents.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement daily, weekly, and monthly activity schedules tailored to residents' interests and abilities.
Organise group and one-to-one activities including arts and crafts, music, games, exercise sessions and themed events.
Encourage resident participation and adapt activities to meet individual needs.
Collaborate with care staff, families, and volunteers to ensure activities are inclusive and engaging.
Maintain accurate records of resident involvement and feedback.
Support residents in maintaining hobbies and exploring new interests.
Being able to raise funds for the resident's funds and booking entertainment for special occasions.
About You
Previous experience in a similar role or working with older adults is desirable.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Creative, energetic, and able to motivate others.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Understanding of safeguarding and person-centered care.
