We are looking to hire an Activities Coordinator for Bank work at Maplehurst Nursing Home in Haywards Heath.
Maplehurst is located at Oathall Road in Haywards Heath, 10 minutes' walk from the train station and the town centre.
The details of the work are as follows:
The shift pattern will be 9am to 4pm

Salary: 12.30 /hour
To be successful in this role you will need to be caring, energetic and organised in order to fulfil this role fully. Have a passion for work creatively. A good standard of written and verbal English Language skills.
Activities Coordinator Job Role
Providing stimulation and encouragement to residents through a variety of entertainment, activities, daily, weekly and regular outings and use community links. Provide individual, group and therapy sessions to the residents.
Promote the Home by assisting with fund-raising events and functions.
Build excellent relationships with the service users and their relatives.
Act in accordance with the policies and procedures of the Home.
Formulate an activity profile for each individual service user through liaison with care staff and relatives.
Maintain accurate and legible records in respect of service users' activities.
Liaise with the senior nurse on duty with regard to outings.
Liaise with senior care assistants in respect of relative medical or nursing care information regarding service users.
