Job Description
JOB PURPOSE:
To arrange day time activities, and interaction with the residents on our Balmoral, Nursing and Residential units, 24 hours a week , over Monday to Sunday. Helping residents with personal shopping and occasional days out. Organising fun days at the home i.e. Easter, Halloween, Christmas. Craft sessions, bingo and afternoon teas. Experience in a similar role would be an advantage but not essential. Ideal candidate will be passionate and caring and subject to a DBS check. NVQ level 2 in health and social care is desirable but not essential. Candidate must be willing to engage in face to face and on line training as required.Car owner may be an advantage as business insurance will be paid when taking residents out on day trips.
Hours are generally between 08.30-17.00 (24 hours per week) but may vary due to events. May include occasional evenings for movie nights
