Our Wellbeing Coordinator plays a pivotal role in promoting and enhancing the health and wellbeing of the residents within the organisation. This position is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing wellbeing programmes that address physical, mental, and emotional health. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in social care along with excellent communication skills to effectively engage and educate staff on various wellbeing initiatives.
Duties
Develop and implement comprehensive wellbeing programmes tailored to the needs of the residents
Be creative and imaginative in supporting each resident in the home to live their best life.
Be able to adapt and develop wellbeing programmes and activities that meet the needs of the residents.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide resources and support for the residents.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of wellbeing initiatives, making adjustments as necessary.
Work as part of the care home team to create a culture where residents have complete choice over their life in the home.
Be able to plan and deliver group activities as well as on a one to one basis for the residents.
Skills
Strong understanding of well being principles and practices.
A background in health and social care
Hold a full clean driving licence to enable to support use of the mini bus and trips out of the home to maintain strong community links for the residents
Strong organisational skills to manage multiple programmes simultaneously.
Be a caring and compassionate person who has that ability to go the extra mile.
