Main duties of the job
As an Activities Driver, your focus will be on providing safe, timely, and courteous transportation for residents to and from various activities, while also assisting them with any special needs during the journey. This includes carrying packages, opening doors, helping residents onto and out of the vehicle, and ensuring they reach their destination safely. You will also be responsible for providing miscellaneous pickup and delivery services as needed. The ideal candidate must have a PCV license with Cat D1, an acceptable driving record, and the ability to react calmly in emergencies while being considerate of the residents' needs.

ABOUT THE ROLE
Your focus as Activities Driver will be providing safe, timely and courteous transportation for residents to and from various activities while providing quality service.
Other responsibilities will include:

  • Providing transportation services for residents.
  • Assisting residents with any special needs during transportation, such as carrying packages, opening doors, assisting residents onto and out of the vehicle, and assisting residents to the point of destination required.
  • Always focusing on driving; directs tasks and passenger interactions to onboard support staff while the vehicle is in motion.
  • Providing miscellaneous pickup and delivery services as needed.
