This is a hybrid role comprising Activities Support and Support Worker:
Activities Support
- Providing support and assistance for our Activities Coordinator. Delivering one to one and group activities for our residents and going on outings when required, this is a varied role.
Support Worker
- Provide care and assistance to individuals in a care home setting. The ideal candidate will have experience in assisted living and senior care, with the ability to support residents with various needs. Responsibilities - Assist residents with daily activities such as meal preparation and personal care - Implement and monitor care plans tailored to individual needs - Provide dementia care and support for residents with memory-related challenges - Engage in case management to ensure the well-being of residents - Support with heavy lifting when required Requirements - Previous experience in assisted living or senior care is essential - Knowledge of care home procedures and protocols - Ability to work compassionately with individuals requiring different levels of support - Strong communication skills to interact effectively with residents, families, and colleagues - Willingness to undertake tasks related to personal care and hygiene.

Pay: 12.21-12.60 per hour
