Koala Klubs Activity Camps provide outstanding activity day camp childcare for children aged 5-13 during the school holidays, where the children's welfare and fun are at the heart of all we do! Children will enjoy a fantastic range of sports, games and art activities every week led by engaging staff at amazing locations.
The role is based at West Park Leisure centre. We are running Monday to Friday 8am to 6pm, July 28th to September 1st.

With camps running nationwide during almost all the school holidays, we have ongoing opportunities for enthusiastic leaders who know how to deliver outstanding sports, arts, and play activities.

Duties and Responsibilities
Prepare and deliver activities for children aged 5 -13yrs, focusing on participation, development, and enjoyment while working both alone and alongside other staff.
Encourage participation through enthusiasm, passion and energy.
Ensure all policies and procedures on Camp are adhered to by yourself and the children in your care, including all health and safety, and safeguarding procedures.
Attend a Camp Induction and complete an assessment prior to the camp starting.
Supporting and caring for children throughout the week while continuously promoting their welfare and best interests.
Supervise and engage with the children outside of activity times. (sign in/out times & during their lunch/snack breaks).
Live up to the company's promise of 'Inspiring Children Every Day' and behave in a manner that reflects the expectations of the company throughout your employment.
Show the required energy, enthusiasm, and professionalism for the duration of the season, acting as an ambassador for Koala Klubs and behaving as a suitable role model for children.
Other ad-hoc duties (cleaning, equipment maintenance/ordering etc).

Essential Requirements
Enthusiastic, energetic individual, passionate about working with children and supporting their development through activities.
Excellent organisational and leadership skills.
Experience working with children.
Excellent communication skills and verbal reasoning. Candidates must be confident in their ability to lead a group of children and not shy away from responsibility.
Flexible, team player, able to adapt to dynamic situations and challenges.

- Valid enhanced DBS or on the update service

Pay: 7.55-12.21 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 50 per week
