Activity Coordinator / Lifestyle Coordinator

Location:

Astley View Care Home, Chorley, Lancashire

Salary:

12.60 per hour / 25,225.20 per annum

Hours:

This is a full-time role, 38.5 hours per week. Shifts run from 9am to 5pm, with every other weekend required. Your remaining working days will be confirmed at the offer stage, and once agreed your rota will stay fixed.

Main Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging activities, such as musical sessions, exercise classes, community outings, and themed events. Collaborate with local performers and organisations to arrange enriching experiences for residents. Maintain accurate records, update care plans, and manage schedules effectively. Inspire friendships, creativity, and culture tailored to the diverse interests of residents.

Experience and Qualifications:

Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a care or dementia environment. Strong communication, organisational, and time-management skills. A creative and proactive approach with a passion for making a positive difference.
