The Role:
We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable
Activity Leaders
to join our
Summer Holiday Camps
across East London. You'll be supporting the delivery of a wide range of fun, high-energy activities for children aged 5-13, including games, creative play, sports, and themed workshops. Your role will be to create a safe, inclusive, and positive environment where all children can thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead or assist with the delivery of structured activity sessions, adapted for different ages and abilities
Help create a welcoming, inclusive space that encourages participation and fun
Supervise children during activities, transitions, and mealtimes, always prioritising safety and wellbeing
Support with daily setup, pack-down, and general camp organisation
Adapt to changing group dynamics and individual needs as required
Work collaboratively with the wider team to maintain high standards of care and engagement
What We're Looking For
Experience working with children aged 5-13 in any setting (schools, clubs, play schemes, etc.)
Confident communicator with a positive, proactive attitude
Energetic, flexible, and able to lead or support a variety of activities
A passion for helping children grow in confidence, creativity, and independence
Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
Relevant qualifications (e.g. childcare, coaching, playwork) are beneficial but not essential

Contract length: 4 weeks
Pay: 13.00-16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 18 per week

Barking and Dagenham RM9: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
