, you will be at the heart of our day care centre's operations, designing and delivering a wide variety of activities that cater to the interests, abilities, and needs of our elderly participants. You'll play a vital role in ensuring our participants feel engaged, included, and supported, while maintaining a safe and welcoming environment. Additionally, you will act as a representative of the centre in the community, promoting our services and supporting the Day Centre Manager.

Key Responsibilities
Activity Planning and Delivery
Create diverse and engaging activities tailored to participants' interests and abilities.
Adapt activities to accommodate varying levels of mobility and cognitive function.
Maintain a detailed activity schedule within budget constraints.
Facilitate activities that encourage participation and community spirit.
Quality and Safety
Conduct risk assessments to ensure safety during activities.
Respond promptly to emergencies and provide basic first aid when needed.
Administrative Support
Manage attendance records, activity reports, and budgets.
Maintain and order necessary supplies for activities.
Client Engagement and Promotion
Build relationships with participants, encouraging active involvement.
Act as an ambassador for the centre on social media, promoting events and activities.
Support efforts to attract new participants and highlight additional care services.

Experience:
Proven background in activity planning, ideally within elder care or related fields.
