Kew is embarking on a major reimagining of its iconic Palm House, creating a vibrant tropical rainforest that highlights the extraordinary biodiversity of these ecosystems, their crucial role in regulating the global climate, and the urgent need for their protection



From January- August 2026 Kew will be working on a Delivery Phase plan for submission to the National Lottery Heritage Fund. We are seeking two highly experienced and dynamic professionals to lead the development of the Activity Plan and Interpretation Plan [additional role on separate advert]



An Enhanced DBS Check is required for this role.

In this key role you will lead the development of the various components of the Activity Plan. With a strong record of stakeholder engagement and exceptional written and verbal communication skills, you will consult with target audiences, gather and analyse data and produce high-quality reports. You will also facilitate audience development through co-creating plans and shaping learning and engagement approaches that are relevant, inclusive, and inspiring for priority groups - ensuring they can be effectively delivered through the Activity Plan.



In this role, we offer an exceptional opportunity to work for Kew, collaborating with expert teams dedicated to delivering outstanding learning and interpretation experiences and engaging diverse audiences.



First round interviews will take place on 1 & 3 December. Second round interviews will take place on 15 December.


This role is based at Kew with the option of regular home working, subject to operational requirements.

The salary for this position is 39,243 per annum [Band D]
