Ad Hoc Driving - Class 1/Class 2

Westcott Sand & Aggregates are looking for Class 1 and Class 2 Drivers who would like to do ad hoc driving.

These can be days/hours to suit the drivers.

Requirements will be as and when the business requires ie. holiday cover, sickness cover, peak season cover.

Working flexible hours within Monday-Friday within 05:00-18:00.

Working location will be from our Uffculme base. Your working day will consist of varied delivery locations around the South West.

Reliability for working days confirmed for this role is a must.

Types of Driving Work Available:

- Class 1 curtain sider work - single drop

- Class 1 tipper work

- Class 2 tipper work (MPQC required)

- Class 2 tipper work

- Class 2 Hi-Ab work (experience in builders merchants preferable)

Expectations:

- Safely operate your designated vehicle.

- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations.

- Perform routine inspections and daily checks

- Communicate with the office team and clients regarding delivery status.

- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and mileage.

- Adhere to company policies and and procedures.

Experience:

- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL)

- Valid HGV Class 1/Class 2 license.

- Excellent driving skills and a clean driving record (no more than 6 points)

Pay: 12.50-14.50 per hour
