Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic waiter / waitress to join our small team on and as and when basis to cover sickness / holidays often at short notice So if you are at school / college then unfortunately this role is not suitable as you could be needed to work weekdays. Please note this position is on an as and when needed basis so no set hours. As a waiter / waitress you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional hospitality and guest services within our Bistro. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that each guest has an enjoyable dining experience, from taking orders to serving food and beverages. If you have a passion for food, excellent time management skills, and a knack for upselling, we would love to hear from you. Ideally you will be Barista trained.

Duties

Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner. Take accurate food and drink orders using the restaurant's ordering system. Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring presentation meets our standards. Manage multiple tables efficiently while maintaining attention to detail. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders. Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism and courtesy. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests.

Requirements

Previous experience in a similar role is essential Strong basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately. Excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively during busy periods. Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is an advantage. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. A genuine passion for providing outstanding guest services and hospitality. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
