Steps Together Group operate a UK based collection of Private Residential and Non-Residential Treatment Services that provide therapy and treatment for a private client base experiencing addiction or poor mental health issues.

As an experienced therapist, you will have the opportunity to work closely with individuals who are in the process of overcoming their addiction and improving their mental health. This role requires a high level of empathy, patience, and understanding, as you will be working with individuals who are going through a difficult and often vulnerable time in their lives.

Duties:

Monday to Friday with ONE Saturday in four (time off in lieu)
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine the needs of clients seeking addiction counselling
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on client's goals and needs
- Provide counselling and support to individuals struggling with addiction
- Facilitate group therapy sessions to address common issues and promote peer support
- Educate clients and their families about addiction, recovery, and relapse prevention strategies
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and provide comprehensive treatment
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records in accordance with legal and ethical standards

Requirements:


- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Counselling or psychotherapy
- Registered with the BACP, NCPS or equivalent
- Knowledge of evidence-based practices for addiction treatment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to establish rapport and build trust with clients
- Empathy and compassion for individuals struggling with addiction
- Familiarity with community resources and referral networks for additional support services

Pay: 31,285.68 per year
