Independent Training Services Ltd. and SmartStyle Training Ltd. (ITS) are national training providers. Whether you are looking for employability skills, apprenticeships or professional training courses, we consistently deliver quality vocational training and education from the classroom to the boardroom.
By bringing together our expertise in commercial training, workforce development and apprenticeships we are well-placed to make a real difference to individual students and businesses alike.
We provide quality training to students who are already employed or preparing to enter into their chosen profession. Our comprehensive portfolio includes accredited end-user IT, business and employability skills courses for individual students, alongside apprenticeships and workforce development for local, regional and national employers. These are delivered by our in-house team of experienced and qualified trainers online, at employer sites and through our network of training centres.
The Opportunity
In this role, you'll support our learners and apprentices to achieve their full potential by identifying those who may need extra help and coordinating the support they receive. Your role focuses on delivering targeted, practical support that removes barriers to learning and helps individuals stay on track with their studies and training.
You'll work closely with Trainers and delivery teams to carry out support assessments, develop tailored strategies, and monitor the impact of additional learning support. Using internal systems, you'll track progress and contribute to reviews, ensuring support remains relevant and effective.
Part of your role will include helping staff evidence the support provided and guiding improvements where needed. You'll also contribute to enrolment and enrichment activities, attend meetings, and liaise with both internal and external stakeholders.
Flexibility is important, as priorities may shift, and you'll be expected to manage your workload accordingly. You'll also take ownership of your professional development, engaging in relevant training and staying up to date with safeguarding, equality, and inclusion practices.
This is a great opportunity to work as part of a committed team, helping to maintain high standards and contribute to positive outcomes for our learners.
About You
For this role, you'll need to be proactive, organised, and genuinely passionate about helping others succeed. With at least two years' experience delivering high-quality training, you know how to engage learners and adapt your approach to meet different needs. You've supported individuals on a one-to-one basis and have experience preparing learners for assessment, giving them the tools and confidence to progress.
You're a strong communicator who builds positive relationships easily--whether you're working with learners, Trainers, or wider teams. You're comfortable using internal systems to track support and monitor progress, and you know how to manage your workload effectively while staying flexible and responsive to changing priorities.
You bring a practical, solution-focused approach and pay close attention to detail. You're also someone who values continuous improvement, keen to build on your skills and engage with training around safeguarding, equality, and inclusive practices.
If you're looking for a varied role where you can make a difference and support positive learner outcomes, this could be a great next step.
