?Join Us at The Centre for ADHD Research and Excellence: Shaping the Future of Accessible Healthcare?

At the Cresco Clinic (part of The Centre for ADHD Research & Excellence), we're revolutionising ADHD care by making assessments and treatment more accessible for everyone.

With an established Adult Pathway already in place, we are excited to extend our services to Children and Young People (CYP). With a mission rooted in compassion, we're building a service that puts young people and their guardians at the heart of everything we do.

This development reflects our ongoing commitment to a person-centred approach, guided by lean methodology and a focus on innovation and continuous improvement. Together, these principles drive our pursuit of excellence and ensure that every individual receives the highest standard of care.

With ambitious plans to expand our service, including the launch of an ASC pathway in 2026, we are committed to pushing boundaries and fostering innovation to achieve outstanding care.

What we are looking for?

We are looking for a dedicated and meticulous

*Full-Time CYP ADHD Prescriber

to join our dynamic team. This is a unique opportunity to join a brand new service right at the point of launching - with the security of an already successful and rapidly scaling adult service behind it.

We're a passionate team of changemakers, committed to a culture built on transparency, support, and continuous growth. We are solution seekers, and we work hard to safeguard the respectful and supportive culture that makes The Centre for ADHD Research & Excellence (Care ADHD) - and the Cresco Clinic - a great place to grow and thrive.

If you're ready to contribute to a mission that transforms ADHD care, we want to hear from you!

What You'll Be Doing:

Respond to Clinical Enquiries:

Prioritise and manage clinical enquiries from healthcare professionals, Cresco Clinic practitioners, CYPs and their guardians, providing timely, evidence-based advice on medication management, treatment options, and drug interactions.

Triage Medication Requests:

Review and assess requests for ADHD medication to ensure they are clinically appropriate and safe, escalating complex or high-risk cases.

Support ADHD Treatment Pathway:

Provide clinical support to children and young people undergoing titration or maintenance treatment, responding to queries, monitoring for adverse effects, and ensuring timely intervention when concerns arise.

Respond to Operational Clinical Enquiries:

Support the wider Cresco Clinic team by responding to operational clinical queries that impact patient progression through the care pathway, working collaboratively to ensure seamless and timely care.

Prescription Management:

Issue ongoing prescriptions for children and young people who remain under the care of the Cresco Clinic, including those for whom shared care has been declined. Ensure prescribing aligns with individual treatment plans and current clinical guidance.

Shared Care Coordination:

Support the preparation and submission of shared care requests to GPs on behalf of the children and young people we work with. Track responses and assist in facilitating agreements to ensure continuity of care and medication access.

A Day in the Life:

The CYP Clinical Care Hub (CCH) plays a key role in supporting people throughout their ADHD treatment journey. We focus core activities in time blocks to allow us to deliver consistent, high-quality care while helping team members build confidence and clarity in each area of the role.

Rotations include:

Prescriptions: Issuing repeat prescriptions for children and young people under our care, and submitting shared care requests to GPs where needed. Clinical Inbox: Responding to medication-related queries from young people, guardians, and clinicians, and offering clear, evidence-based advice. Triage: Reviewing and prioritising medication requests to ensure they are clinically safe and appropriate. The structure of the day depends on the current rotation but typically includes a mix of patient-facing work, internal clinical queries, and coordination with GPs or other teams.

While the core work is consistent, there are also opportunities to contribute to wider projects, such as refining our clinical pathways or supporting new initiatives within the service. This role is a great fit for people who are comfortable with structured, process-driven work, but also want to be part of a team that's growing and adapting to meet the needs of the people we serve. Ours is a fast-paced environment, focused on continuous improvement and one that invests in innovative technology for the benefit of all.

If you're excited by the idea of improving ADHD assessment services and working alongside a team that values fresh thinking and flexibility, we'd love to hear from you!
