is a not-for-profit organisation who support students with special educational needs across the UK. We are looking to expand our amazing team and need an enthusiastic tutor providing one to one and small group support for students with disabilities and communication difficulties. We offer an extensive training package to our new staff, so enthusiasm is more important than experience.

This role is for an Admin and Finance Officer reporting to the Admin and Finance Manager.

Administration



You will be responsible for:

Ensuring that all information that comes into the hub either physically or electronically is filed in the appropriate place either physically or electronically. Ensuring that the appropriate staff member is alerted to any information coming into the hub that they need to attend to. Responding to initial enquiries and sending appropriate documentation to enquirers. Setting up initial consultations with enquirers. Creating student profiles once new student services begin. Ensuring that all resources (stationary, domestic and student learning) needed in the hub are obtained and kept up to date, and ordering when necessary. Answering the phone. Organising travel and accommodation arrangements for staff and others (such as visiting professionals or families) when needed. Taking minutes at meetings and distributing them. Managing recruitment administration. Carrying out DBS checks. Managing calendars for exhibitions, assessment and training. Managing a whole staff calendar. Ensuring that new staff have an induction plan with all policy and procedures sent to them and checking that they have read them. Assisting with qualifications and courses. Organising staff training and HR administration. Other reasonable admin duties.

Invoice management and financial record keeping



You will be responsible for the following:

Invoicing for services, tracking invoice payments, following up late payments and applying late payment fees. Ensuring that all payments due from CandLE are paid in a timely manner. Raising purchase orders as required. Entering all income and expenditure into an agreed record keeping system and keeping this up to date. Providing quotes for new work. Creating contracts for new work. Ensuring that receipts or other proof of expenditure and income are filed both manually and electronically (including petty cash). Providing management with weekly written updates of income, expenditure, and status of remuneration due. Supporting applications for funding for CandLE and associated organisations. Reporting on donations and grants received. Payroll admin completed accurately and promptly. Managing sales of CandLE and associated organisation's products. Other reasonable finance duties.

Pay: 22,500.00-24,000.00 per year
