Job Description

MKB Law are a leading Belfast city centre law firm, providing legal solutions to commercial and individual clients throughout Belfast and Northern Ireland.

We are seeking a personable, proactive Admin Assistant to support our directors and employees by executing a variety of administrative tasks with a positive mindset. You will be a key member of our support team that everyone in the company can rely on.

Duties include but are not limited to:



- Reception cover when the Receptionist is on lunch/annual leave.

- Managing incoming calls taking clear concise information.

- Daily distribution and collection of post, DX and messages throughout the office.

- Daily delivery of letters and packages to local offices (or as/when required in urgent situations).

- Responsible for confidential waste management.

- Ensure that stationery areas, post desk and deeds store are kept organised and tidy.

- Support all departments as and when required with administrative tasks.

- Support all departments as and when required with photocopying and scanning.

- Escorting clients to other solicitor's offices if required.

- Deeds scheduling.

- Preparation of Property certificates.

- Any other duties that may arise.

Skills, Qualifications and Experience:



- GCSE Maths and English

- Basic to intermediate IT skills with MS Office experience (Outlook/Word)

- Have confidence talking to clients and colleagues, demonstrating excellent communication skills.

- Excellent administration / organisational skills.

- Good time-keeping skills and the ability to work to set deadlines.

- Have a good team spirit and a willingness to learn.

- Smart in appearance and manner
