Admin Assistant - Saros Global Ltd (Bowscar, Penrith)



Hours:

Part-time (approx. 4 hours per day, Monday-Friday - ideally 10:00-14:00, but flexible to suit)

Saros Global Ltd is a fast-growing freight forwarding, transport and logistics business based in Cumbria. We handle full truck loads, groupage consignments and palletised freight across the UK and Europe. We're looking for an organised and enthusiastic

Admin Assistant

to support our busy operations team.

Key Responsibilities



Respond to incoming emails in a timely, professional manner Handle POD (Proof of Delivery) administration, including checking and uploading documents Data input across our internal systems and customer portals Produce and process customer invoices, credit notes and related paperwork Answer incoming calls, handle invoice queries and liaise with customers and suppliers Maintain accurate records and filing systems (digital and paper-based) Support general office administration as required

About You



Confident using computers, technology and cloud-based systems (training provided on our internal platforms) Organised and accurate with strong attention to detail A good communicator - polite, professional and customer-focused on phone calls and in emails Able to prioritise workload and manage time effectively Previous experience in admin, transport or logistics is helpful but not essential
