Our team of 31 people operate nationwide dealing with Local Exhaust Ventilation equipment and its statutory requirements. A function of our business is to carry out statutory Local Exhaust Ventilation tests to improve Health and Safety equipment in workplaces (occupational hygiene) and ensure workers are not exposed to hazardous fumes and dusts which can affect their health (Asthma, COPD, Cancer). We operate in a diverse range of applications including Nuclear sites, Airports, Manufacturing, Education and Small businesses.
The role will be split between two departments.
Part of the week will be to assist the Contracts Manager, this will include
Production of paperwork for engineers
Organising Contract files
Hiring and offhiring equipment
Ordering parts for jobs from suppliers
Liaising with customers to organise jobs
The other part of the week will be to assist the Office Manager in producing statutory reports, this will include.
Receive and input data to the company database - accuracy is key
Compile legal reports which are to be sent to customers
Learn the toxicology of substances used in workplaces
Liaise with new and existing customers and give excellent customer service
Be the first point of contact by telephone when our company receives enquiries
Forward enquiries to the relevant staff member within the company
Contribute positively to your own personal development and learn
Salary from 25,000 which will increase to match your progression and professionalism.
Based at S61 2DW, the role is Monday to Friday 9am-5pm.
Attendance allowance of 50 per month paid annually in November when you have not had an unauthorized absence. Which would total an extra 600.
Annual Holiday Entitlement is 20 days per annum (pro rata) plus statutory holidays, which will increase by an extra day's holiday for each continuous year of service following the first anniversary of employment and there after each January, up to a maximum of 5 additional day's per annum.
