We are looking for a dynamic and experiencedAdministration Managerto lead the day-to-day operations of the ECFWS administration hub. This is a key leadership role overseeing the functional leads and ensuring efficient delivery of core administrative services including SPOC (Single Point of Contact), reporting, and business resource management.
This role is pivotal in maintaining consistency of best practice across the service, supporting staff development, and embedding improvements that enhance operational efficiency. You will be the driving force behind ensuring the admin functions meet activity targets and service standards, while being a crucial link between the administration hub and the Senior Management Team.
You must hold a valid UK driving licence and have access to a car for business use.
Main duties of the job
As an Admin Manager you will:
Lead and manage functional leads across the admin hub, ensuring effective workload distribution, absence management, and service continuity.
Oversee staff recruitment, performance appraisals, and development planning, ensuring mandatory training compliance.
Implement and monitor best practice processes, SOPs, and governance structures that drive efficiency and standardisation.
Act as the primary escalation point for admin-related issues and complaints, ensuring timely resolution and communication with SMT.
Monitor KPIs and develop systems to support performance tracking, resource management, and continuous service improvement.
Support change processes within specific admin functions and ensure smooth implementation with functional leads.
Liaise with the Contracts & Performance Manager and finance team to support operational planning and resource management, including budget responsibilities.
