We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and organised, Admin Manager to join our team at Watford, on a full-time, permanent basis.
As an Admin Manager, you will play a vital role in delivering excellence, while embodying the values of being respectful, demonstrating accountability, and acting with courage.
You will provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to the Service Manager, Lead GP/Nurse, and other healthcare professionals within our Urgent Care Centre (UCC). Your exceptional organizational skills will ensure that service objectives are achieved efficiently and effectively.
Your day to day...
Coordinating staff rotas to guarantee optimal resource allocation and smooth daily operations of the service.
Ensuring that all administrative processes are streamlined and executed with precision, contributing to the overall excellence of the UCC.
Implementing best practices and quality improvement initiatives to enhance the delivery of administrative services.
Encouraging open communication and collaboration among team members, valuing their contributions and promoting a culture of respect.
Interacting with patients, colleagues, and stakeholders in a respectful and professional manner, always considering their diverse needs and perspectives.
Taking ownership of the efficient management of administrative operations, ensuring compliance with local policies and procedures.
Tracking and monitoring key performance indicators to assess the effectiveness of administrative processes and implementing necessary improvements.
Upholding the highest standards of integrity, confidentiality, and ethical conduct in all aspects of your role.
Proactively identifying challenges and implementing innovative solutions to improve administrative efficiency and effectiveness.
Advocating for positive changes and improvements within the administrative function, even in the face of adversity.
Qualifications, Experience & Training...
Educated to A Level/NVQ3 level or equivalent.
Excellent written and spoken command of the English language
Relevant and recent experience working in a senior administrative /secretarial role.
Experience of working to and implementing local policies and procedures.
Previous NHS or public sector experience
