Job Description

Our client, A Large public sector organisation, based in Cookstown is looking for an Administrative Officer to join their team.
Duration: 6 months with possible extension
Rate of pay: 12.97
Location: Cookstown
Hours: 37 hours per week
Start date: ASAP
Main Duties

  • Cover Reception Counter Monday to Friday 9-5pm - dealing and directing customer, staff and visitor enquiries
  • Providing support to CAFRE Room Booking system
  • Processing incoming/outgoing post
  • Processing work orders on electronic filing system
  • Receipt goods / services for payment
  • Monitor that orders have been paid.
  • Monitor and action invoices as required.
  • Processing Purchase Orders
  • Ensuring supplier site details are maintained and up to date and dealing with delays in payment
  • Receipting invoices - communicating with Account NI and internal departments, resolving any queries with invoices and ensuring prompt payment.
  • Deal with petty cash and card transactions
  • Monitoring stocks of office stationery
  • Ordering stationery stocks when required.
  • Scanning and Photocopying personal / sensitive information
  • Maintaining appropriate filing systems for finance related duties
  • Using MS Excel to monitor and record receipting, invoicing and payment
Ad-hoc duties as required
Essential Criteria:
- 5 GCSEs A-C (Must include Maths and English)
