The Resort administrator and assistant is responsible for providing administrative and operational support to ensure the smooth running of the resort and spa. This role involves; assisting the heads of department with their admin tasks, coordinating communication between departments, supporting guest services, working with all departments to assist around the park. The Administrator plays a key role in creating a welcoming and efficient environment for guests and team alike.
Key Responsibilities
Administrative Support:
Oversee day-to-day administrative tasks, including filing, correspondence, scheduling, and owner communication.
Maintain accurate records of guest bookings, spa appointments, and departmental reports.
Support the Resort director and heads of department with documentation, reports, and health and safety.
Guest Relations & Communication:
Support the reception team with guest inquiries, ensuring excellent customer service.
Assist in handling guest feedback, complaints, or requests promptly and professionally.
Coordinate communication between departments (front office, housekeeping, spa, maintenance, and F&B) to ensure seamless guest experiences.
Finance & HR Administration:
Assist with basic financial tasks such as invoicing, payroll support, and expense tracking.
Maintain staff records, attendance logs, and holiday schedules.
Operational Support:
Assist with inventory tracking and ordering of office, spa, and resort supplies.
Ensure compliance with company policies, health & safety, and data protection regulations.
Help coordinate resort events, activities, and promotional campaigns.
Skills & Qualifications
Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably in hospitality, tourism, or spa/wellness.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and booking/reservation systems.
Attention to detail and a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Working Conditions
Full-time role, including weekends and public holidays as required.
Based on-site at the holiday resort and spa.
